Blue Ray Energy Company was honored to participate in the recent meeting and workshop organized by the High Technical Committee of the Council of Ministers of the Kurdistan Regional Government. The focus of the event was the Central Bank of Iraq’s initiative to provide loans to citizens for the installation of solar energy systems.
Representing the private sector, Blue Ray Energy took part in the discussions, with our Founder & CEO, Engineer Yasin Shekh Abubakir Mawaty, contributing as a panelist. His insights emphasized the importance of this initiative and its potential to benefit both the residential and industrial sectors.
In 2023, Blue Ray Energy submitted several key recommendations and comments to the Central Bank regarding the structure and implementation of this initiative. We are pleased to see that these contributions have helped bring critical issues to the forefront, enabling direct dialogue between the private sector, the Ministry of Electricity, and other governmental bodies involved in defining the necessary procedures and facilitation mechanisms for implementation in the Kurdistan Region.
